Hi,
My setup is:
HTPC audio setup to "Wasapi Event Style", doing the relevant audio decoding (I need VideoClock) and sending the PCM stream via HDMI (Nvidia 560ti) to my AV processor in a 5.1 setup.
I have "DSP Studio" configured for outputting channels as "Source number of channels" because I want the audio path as Direct as possible.
Everything works great (Stereo and Multichannel) except, as far as I know, with "Star Wars" and "Lord Of The Rings" Extended collections, where the channels are messed up (ex: no center channel)
The audio track from MediaInfo for both sagas is:
Audio
Format : DTS
Format/Info : Digital Theater Systems
Format profile : MA / Core
Muxing mode : Header stripping
Codec ID : A_DTS
Bit rate mode : Variable
Bit rate : 1 510 Kbps
Channel(s) : 7 channels / 6 channels
Channel positions : Front: L C R, Side: L R, Back: C, LFE / Front: L C R, Side: L R, LFE
Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz
Bit depth : 24 bits
Compression mode : Lossless / Lossy
Title : DTS-HD MA 6.1
Language : English
Default : Yes
Forced : No
I can make it work if i setup "DSP Studio" for outputting channels as "5.1" and in "Mixing" I selected: "No upmixing or downmixing". But then for stereo I will have in "Audio Path": "Convert to 2 channels for 6 channels" instead of "No changes are being made" as intended and achieved with outputting channels as "Source number of channels".
