JRiver Freezing [Solved]

I am a newbie to the forum and i would like to share a problem that i have been having with jriver17.When i access my library,there are some songs and album that when i double click play causes the program to freeze and stop responding.When i reboot the program open again with no problem.I notice that when i right click on the song or highlite the entire album the song or songs will play with no problem.This problem only happen with some of my library files..others work normal.just cant understand why the computer and the program freezes when i double click play?

hi, yes my MC does the same thing. It happens, say,  when watching my Ibanez Jumpstart DVD that came with my guitar, and i want to toggle to a different lesson, i right click and.........el-lock'o, kinda sucks, shut down Pc, reboot...  >:( >:( And it will not unfreeze, i must reboot, but i dont know why.

If your computer freezes, it's a hardware level thing.

Try working through this guide:

In particular, try different audio output modes.

I have tried all the settings but the problem remains.I am now wondering if there was a problem with the library transfer since it only occurs  with some files and even then the files will still play when you right click on them

The problem is deeper  ???tried opening mc now the critical error keeps popping up "the program is corrupt download new version and uninstall old one."Cant get the program to uninstall

Download from JRiver and install.

Then reinstall your license.

Did you try downloading from our site and installing?

You may have disk problems or other PC problems.

Our wiki article on "Stability" might help.

jriver freezing up solved!!!

Freezing up was occurring when i double click on some file folders.I just realize that the file folders that were causing the freeze up had a media center file that should not have been there.When i deleted the file the problem was solve.I am not sure how the file got attach i can only suspect that this happened when the library was transferring?I wish i knew a way to delete these attach files easier than have to be doing them by individual folders?

Occasionally, Paypal puts a hold on a transaction for a short time.  Usually a day.  That happened yesterday for a customer whose initials were P.C.  If that was you, it should fix itself within a day.  More here:

Paypal says the hold has been lifted.  It should work now.  Just go to the wiki page I linked above.
