CD Won't Begin Playing Following Track
« on: June 24, 2012, 08:12:16 am »

Hi,

When I insert a CD, the CD will play the first track but won't move on to the next track. It gets stuck at the end of the track it just played and says "Buffering...".

I can manually play any track and the forward/backward buttons work but it won't move from the end of the playing track to the beginning track.

I'm using Media Center 17.0.165.

I usually use ASIO playback and internal volume control but I've changed both of these, restarted MC and still nothing. Same problem.
I've tried deselecting "Use digital playback for audio CD's" but that doesn't work. It just skips all over the place.

I've got an Intel 3930k on an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme (stock standard - no overclocking).
16GB RAM

I'm using an M-AUDIO 2626 as a soundcard connected via FireWire (this isn't the problem).

Any help would be appreciated.

This version fixes that problem:

Thank you for the quick response. I tried searching for the solution but couldn't find it.
