Green bars around video? How to set highest quality?
« on: October 06, 2012, 07:47:20 am »

I was watching a video stored locally and it did not maximize to screen. Rather there was a green bar on all sides. How is this fixed?

On a second note, I'd like to set highest possible video and audio quality for everything. I have a pretty hefty processor and would like to use it.

Specs:
AMD Phenom II x4 860 clocked up to 4ghz
12 gb 1600 ram.
HD4350 video card (Considering an upgrade here).
HDMI connection to: Denon 2112CI.

You could try setting MC's video to Red October HQ.  There is a wiki topic on Red October.

The topic called "Getting Started" on our wiki has information about choosing a high quality audio output.

Yes sir, I have already gone through and setup the audio based on this guide. Is there a similar topic for video setup?
