Samsung sold 10,000,000 of the original Galaxy Note in its first year.  I've had one since they were available.  It's a good phone and a great computer.

Hello Jim,

I have been using jriver for quite a few years, and even while being an iPhone user I have continued using it to rip/organize/manage my music.  After a few years of having to live with iTunes I am way past ready to move away from it.  I also want a larger device.  The whole 'Phablet' thing should suit me just fine so I am taking a hard look at the Note 2.

My question for you is this: how well did your V1 Note sync with jriver?  I will want to sync a few thousand .mp3's along with pod casts and playlists from jriver to the Note 2.  I do not care about play counts, but being able to bring ratings from the phone back into jriver would be nice, although not a must.

Any comments you have would be great to hear.

TIA

M.

I don't use it for thousands of files.  Hundreds perhaps.  I haven't seen any significant problems syncing to it from MC.  I keep my files in APE format and so MC converts them to MP3 when it syncs.

If you find any problems, let us know.  We can probably fix them.
