Hi Guys! I bought a new computer and I started to download my MC16 to it and guess what I haven't the faintest idea of how to go about it. By now you have figured out my computer skills are very limited. All right I do have my registration code and I got to the "Restore Page" and then I noticed it was getting dark inside my head. My old computer was an XP and the new one is Win 7. Do I just tell it to restore after I put in my registration code and it will load MC16 on the new machine and then I copy the data off of my backup external disk to the new computer in the same locations? I have all of my music files and C:\documents and settings\admin\application data\river\media center 16 and C:\Program Files\j river\media center 16\data on my B/U external drives. Is this correct or is there more data I new from my old computer, etc.?
