Playback problem
« on: October 27, 2012, 03:01:07 am »

Hey Guys,

I am new here on the forum and I have a really weird problem.

Everytime I restart MC17 I get a music playback problem, which also effects video playback because video can't be played on the selected audio. I recently discovered that its caused by kernel streaming: MC 17 switches from wasapi to kernel streaming and no sound comes out any more. If that isn't weird enough the next problem is that the output mode will only show kernel streaming and all the other modes are disabled.
I then reinstall MC 17 and everything is normal again, but only till I restart the program and the problem then returns till I reinstall.

Basically I need to reinstall the program now everytime I want to hear some music of watch a video...

Can somebody help? I tried basically everything I know...

Thanks!

In audio options, try setting the audio device.

In audio options, try setting the audio device.

You mean:
Audio output>Ouput mode settings>Device?

No options are then available.

Does anyone what causes that Kernel Streaming is only available?

It used to work fine... Can it have something to do with the mediaserver?
