How to use tablet as remote interface to music server.
« on: November 10, 2012, 04:28:40 pm »

Hello - I have a pc dedicated as a music server running JRiver. Is there a way I can use my Nexus 7 tablet as a remote interface to JRiver?
Or do I have to use some software for android that will allow remote desktop?

Thanks,

You should use Gizmo. It's the JRiver Android app for streaming and controlling music and video. You can control playback from and to what device you want. You'll have to enable the Media Network options on the server to connect. You can read more about it on the wiki or Media Network forum. Or search other threads on the subject.
