Rendering problems with MC18 > version 94
« on: December 23, 2012, 09:13:21 pm »

I reported this on the 103 release thread and was asked to create a seperate thread.

I have my JRiver set up to automatically check for and install stable versions. With one of the recent updates to MC18 the screen rendering broke as you can see in the attached screen capture. I have not touched the font setting just installed the latest stable release. My skin has been Blue Steel since the beginning of time.

I was asked to cycle trough the different skins and the manifestation of this problem depends on the skin selected.

Aruba                Broken
Black on Black    Okay
Blue Steel          Broken
Green Eyes        Okay
Noire                Okay
Noire Glass        Okay
Pearl Bailey       Okay
PixOS               Okay
Purity               Okay
Thunderstorm   Broken
Z                      Okay

Cheers

You are welcome!

Just for completeness. The font setting is Segoe UI Regular 9 pt like it has always been. See attached

Is there hope this will be addressed?

Happy new year

Next build:
Fixed: When using large fonts, the text in the player area could be the wrong size when using a skin that doesn't support playerbar resizing.

Thanks for your help.
