Hi all,

There's an existing thread http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=76832.0, which may or not be the same problem; however, I would like to start my own thread so that I don't hi-jack kosmos' thread.

I recently had re-installed my Server 2012 x64 bit.  The previous install had MC 17 and everything was working; however, started having stuttering issues.  So I re-installed and upgraded to MC 18 build 103.

After installing and re-setting up all my settings (i imported the library, but not settings). I started to get software hangs (just MC).  It would crash upon exiting playback.  The screen goes dark and task manager reports MC is not responding.

Also, I usually leave my MC theater view running when i'm done, but each time I leave it for about 4-5 hours and turn my TV back on -- dark screen and nothing responds and I have to forcibly restart MC 18.

Here are my specs & plugins:

CPU: AMD 3870K not OC
MOBO: ASRock A75m-ITX
Memory: 16GB (4GB dedicated to Hyper-V Virtual Machine that)
OS: Windows Server 2012 x64
JRiver Mediacenter version 18 build 103

I have not tried with theatre skin in normal mode (which I will do and post my result next)
I have tried running with subtitle plugin disabled and still same result.
