I have thousands of albums in FLAC, one folder for each album.   Each folder has the album cover in a file called coverart.jpg.   None of them ported when I imported to the library.  Even if the internet capability were working, those are not the files I need as it took me years to get the right covers.  Can someone please respond?  I included all types of files during the import.

That's an unsupported name (coverart.jpg).  Renaming the files might work.

Or if you use the software that supports that naming convention, you might be able to embed the art in the music file.

Actually, MC will use it.

Select your tracks, right-click and select Cover Art > Quick Find in File/Cover Art directory.

Nothing I do seems to work. I've tried "right-click and select Cover Art > Quick Find in File/Cover Art directory", pasting from the clipboard and "Get from Internet". I've imported a large FLAC library and quite a few albums are missing artwork. I use the same library in Plex, so I know my data is consistent.

Same here.  When i tried a couple of files, I changed to Album.jpg and Folder.jpg.  I reimported the whole library and upgrade to newest version.   When I try tried cover art from file, it does not allow me pick up the cover (it is greyed out, see picture) and it is the same whether it says Album or Folder.   

When I try

In options--> file location-->cover art
you can try setting it to 'in same folder as file'
not to be confused with 'in same folder as file (as folder.jpg)'
then try updating the cover art again

Do i have to create a separate directory for the Cover Art? I hope not.   When I go to Options, the folder points to a Cover Art directory.  I do not want to use that, I want MC to import from the audio folder.  Thanks for your help.

MC is finding the cover art, and setting the Image File property to coverart.jpg.  However, it is not building the thumbnail.  I'd say this is a bug.

That is what is looks like to me. It is not, however setting it to coverart.jpg, I changed the files to Album.jpg which you can see in the first screenshot, but it is still grayed out.  Same when I tried with another file by renaming to Folder.jpg.  In both experiments I deleted the library and reimported, so it looks like a bug to me too...
