Come on, man.
« on: February 26, 2013, 04:17:56 pm »

I just got an e-mail saying the Mac version of MC is available for purchase at a reduced price.  I already took the plunge a week ago--come on, man!

If you bought a week ago, there was no download available.  Now there is.

And how do you know that we aren't women?

Good point though.

Anybody that watches ESPN has heard "Come on, man!" a thousand times.  My guess is you're not women, but more like a couple of Sheldon Coopers.  Hopefully you can get that reference.

Whether the download was available or not is irrelevant--paying for something and then subsequently sending an e-mail asking you to pay for what you already paid for is a little goofy.  I'm not complaining--the program looks great already, and if I can ever use it to stream internet radio to my stereo via DLNA I'll be a happy camper.  It's been fun watching the progess so far.

In my experience, the marketing guys and the developers aren't allowed on the same floor (sometimes not the same building), don't recognize each other if they run into each other by happenstance at a public water fountain, certainly aren't invited to the same Christmas parties---they're as different as "chalk and cheese" (British: look it up), and don't have the slightest idea what the other is doing. Nor should they, if they expect to be good at their jobs. :D ;D
