I'm trying to run a new channel scan on DVB-S, Astra and Hotbird, but the scanner will not come up with anything. Settings are correct. I remember and old problem where MC is unable to scan to the second satellite in a DisEqC A/B situation, and needs application first (is this fixed?). Anyway, nothing comes up either way. Using a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-4000, MC 18.0.136.

DisEqC situation has not changed.  That means you will still need to set it outside of MC first.  Have you checked the xml data file and make sure it is correct?

Sorry, I don't remember about the xml. Where and what do I have to look?

update: added the Hotbird xml.
