How to Register MC18 ?
« on: March 01, 2013, 01:48:24 pm »

Hi ,
My copy of MC18 is still showing as unregistered in Registration Information since yesterday . Am I missing a ' Register Button ' ?

The program doesnt launch when I redownload the Install Key so how can I actually link it to me ??

Sorry , Im sure its obvious but Im eager to try it out .

Im using a 2012 2.7 Mac Mini on latest Mountain Lion btw.

What opens an .mjr file on a Mac ??

Thanks

Please read the "License" section in the FAQ near the top of this board.

Don't worry. The first builds (alpha) of Mc Mac don't need registration, they will timeout in 30 days.

The .mjr file is your licence file, it will be used by MC registration system. You will need this file to register your copy of MC when the regular builds of MC Mac will be released. So keep the .mjr file handy somewhere and stay tuned to this very forum for the build announcements.

hope it helps,

C.

Many Thanks for your help . I did read that section but I was not aware of the change to the 'real' builds .

Thanks again and its great that JRiver are going for Macs and offering something sensible for all media as an alternative to the mess that is iTunes
