Release notes now on the Wiki
« on: March 01, 2013, 09:58:31 pm »

I've added all the release notes from MC11 to MC18 to the wiki for public releases:

That's great.  Thanks.

I should probably update this thread to link to the wiki:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=74442.0

I'll try to do it next week.

You're welcome.

You might have guessed, I wrote a perl script to pull them from the forum, reverse them when necessary, and output in wiki format.  I thought they would be useful ala Search is the New Manual.

If someone can remove these now-orphaned wiki pages, we'll have one stop shopping:

Release_Notes_2006-06
Release_Notes_2006-07
Release_Notes_2006-08
Release_Notes_2006-09
Release_Notes_2006-10
Release_Notes_2006-11
Release_Notes_2006-12
Release_Notes_2007-01
Release_Notes_2007-02

Once Google indexes the new release notes pages in a couple of days, you should be able to search all releases or a specific release:

   site:wiki.jriver.com "Release Notes"
   site:wiki.jriver.com "Release Notes MC18"

Mr C, are you cloneable ?  :)

if so, send me one to sweden

Little known fact - they tried cloning a human once; I was the result of that horrible experiment gone awry.  The horror... the Horror!

That's excellent.

I'd been using AlexB's similar chanelog list on his blog - thanks to AlexB for doing that.

I didn't remember there was an 11.1 and 11.0 release.  I've added the 11.0 notes.

Matt - I'll keep the notes up to date, since they are easy to pull.  I'll automate the checking for new notes and have it send me email when its time to post the update, so you can just link to the Wiki page for the release.  If you want to ping me to get an update posted immediately, feel free to send me an email.
