Why I should Use JRiver Media Center
« on: March 22, 2013, 06:50:59 pm »

I am new to this & a little overwhelmed at the different media centers, I downloaded XBMC but looking at it, it looked to cumbersome to navigate through it, & seemed too complex for me. Just wondering if people using JRiver are happy with it. I have a Usenet Provider,& I want to run SABnzbd in conjunction with Sick Beard,Couch Potato & headphones.Does JRiver support these NZB files? If JRiver is compatible with this software, what version should I get. Is there a guide to use for any settings that I might need to get JRiver up & running with these software programs? Also would there be a guide to use just so I know how to run JRiver on a day to day general use when I have it up & running. Any help on this would be much appriciated. Thanks

I doubt that JRiver supports any usenet related software.

Outside of that, what do you want a Media Center to do ?

I want to play movies, music, watch tv shows & look at pictures. Using the other software, I would like to download movies so JRiver would be able to play them. I want to access them very easily via J River to play them. Thanks

This isn't the place for "download" movies.
