The one area where MC is still lacking, surprisingly, is the ability to play docs on tablets via gizmo.

Not enough people use this functionality I guess, but perhaps it is only because people do not realize that they could be standing at their kitchen counter and using gizmo to go through their recipes, select one, and follow it while the tablet or phone stays with them on the counter or on the fridge. (Screenshots attached of my recipe database on my phone using gizmo).

Everything works fine until I select my recipe: then gizmo just plays the cover art and doesn't open the text file with the phone or tablet's default text player.

MC is so so close to being perfect for phones and tablets in the kitchen.

Just wondering if the ability to open docs locally on a device via gizmo is in the works.
I've invested loads of time using MC for my recipe database, so I'm not tempted to switch over to Evernote or something, but I suppose it would be better to invest the time doing that if this is really really low on the MC radar.
