Import Media Locks up
« on: April 25, 2013, 09:33:52 pm »

I am trying to import music and videos from my Synology NAS and my MC keeps locking up during importing. It specifically stops analyzing after it has an error with a song, I then click OK and it stays on Analyzing Audio 2 of 48,000 and does not analyze anymore.

I have been trying to import for over a week and this keeps happening. This is getting me really frustrated with this program really fast. I have all options checked under import.

Any advice?

When you report a problem, please make sure you have tried the latest build.  It is currently 18.0.174, available at the top of the MC18 board.

If that doesn't fix the problem, try importing a single file type at a time.

Ok....will do. I do have the latest build as of last night when I used the MC programs to check for the latest build.

I am not sure how to import a file type, but I will look. It stops on Analyzing Audio.

Please get 174.  You could read about "Updates" on our wiki.

Installed 174 and moved the file in question out of the import file list. Everything seems to going well now. Thanks.
