Trivial feature request
« on: June 03, 2013, 05:01:08 pm »

I typically use the "panes" view while listening to music.  As a search around and/or browse my rather large library, I forget where I found what I am listening to.

I would love to see the panes lists be bold to trace the selected item down.

An example for the default panes would be

In the Genre pane, Folk would be bold
The Artist pane, Carole King would be bold
The Album pane, Tapestry...you get the idea.

Just one of those nice to haves

Thanks you

The selected pane values should be clearly visible.  You could try a different skin if the selection is hard to see.

Also, if you use Forward / Back when navigating views, the pane state is preserved.  If you click again on the tree, the panes will reset instead of preserve their state.

If I understood this correctly, m.harley wants the information for the currently playing track to be made bold in the panes view, similar to the way the currently playing track is made bold in the files list, so he can find it again easily if he has navigated away from it. (E.g. Adding more tracks to the now playing list)

It seems like a good idea to me, but I don’t really use the panes view much.

Exactly.  If I double click a song in the file list it becomes bold and plays.  However the panes are not linked to that action.  Just a thought and since it is my primary configuration for listening, I find my self forgetting where I was (I think it is an age thing! lol) frequently.  I know there a few work arounds, but it would be a nice addition.

Thanks, Mike
