How to Sink Custom View in MC with JRemote?
« on: June 04, 2013, 04:52:54 pm »

I am a new MC/JRemote user trying the system out for my high-end server.  I want to be able to display "File View" via JRemote just like it does via MC.  I went through the proper setup configuration via the server UI (Media Network - Configure DLNA Servers... -custom views - files - etc...).  I see the file view via MC, but I don't see it via the JRemote controller.  How do I sink the controller with the server so that the controller "sees" what the server does?

You can set it up under "Media Network > Advanced > Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo".
Fortunately, JRemote is not a DLNA-Controller (although it can controll "DLNA-Zones" via MC) ;)

Thank you.  I must be dense...  I still can't get JRemote to show anything else under Audio, than the "preset" Artist, Album, genre...   You say it can "control DLNA Zones." Can I use this to access my file/folder view...?  I'm not clear on this...

Thanks again.
