Hi,

I just tried to download, and there seems to be something amiss with the dl from files.jriver.com.  I tried to dl MediaCenter180195.exe and I'm running Windows 8, and not only did I get a warning from Windows 8 upon completing the download (which also failed, and had to be resumed), but when I executed the file, A.)Windows Smartscreen warned me because it was from an "Unknown publisher", and B.)Just hung and wouldn't extract.

Please advise?

This type of problem is often a "false positive" from an antivirus program.  But in your case, it's probably something else.  The build has been up for more than 24 hours without any other reports.

If you have downloaded and installed MC successfully in recent weeks, what has changed?

I just downloaded the build:
http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v18/latest/MediaCenter180195.exe

It shows a correct digital signature for me.

I also checked the two install files (Install.exe / InstallLauncher.exe) in the package and their signatures appear correct for me.
