Have the same Problem. Shutdown at end of track in mp3 playlist. (Probs in 8.-versions i tried)

Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.230

CPU: Intel Pentium II 300 MHz MMX
Memory: Total - 130 MB, Free - 5 MB
OS: Microsoft Windows 2000 5.0 Service Pack 2 (Build 2195)

Internet Explorer: 6.0.2600.0000
ComCtl32.dll: 5.50.4704.1100
Shlwapi.dll: 6.00.2600.0000
Shell32.dll: 5.00.3315.2902
wnaspi32.dll: 4.70 , ASPI for Win32 (95/NT) DLL, Copyright © 1989-2001 Adaptec, Inc.
Aspi32.sys: 4.70

Anybody interestet in DrWatson-report? The error seems to be similar (to me) to the one in the "Mediajukebox 8.0.230 released"-thread.

YouŽll get it ;o)

Freshly rebootet system, completely fresh install v.230 is shut down v.277 runs stable (for now about 2 hours)- is it possible, that errors may be caused by skins? (the beginning of my odyssey of endless restarting and looking up for wrong parameters in 277 and before)

I just downloaded the newest version (8.0.293) and am having nothing but problems with it.  It keeps giving me this error message about GDI.EXE
I don't know what to do.  I cannot open any other programs while it is open or it freezes and gives me this error.  It has always been the same error every time.
Please Help.

Probably not related to any of the above issues, but I was having a heat issue with my HD. I finally reconfigured my case and purchased a "cooler tray" for my main drive, and I've eliminated the reboots while in MJ8. This puppy is constantly accessing your HD when playing or ripping music. Any DB prog will. While I have two side 80MM intake fans and 2 outake fans on top, none really got to the HDs at the front of the case. Beware the heat. Especially if you had 4 HDs all in one spot like I did.

Also, update your video driver and maybe disable MEGA-ME skinning if you're getting GDI errors...
