You ALMOST can do it...
In v18, I set up ZoneSwitch with some rules, eg:
Display name:
Zone_DSP_CutBass
Engage:
[Keywords]="Zone_DSP_CutBass"
Play zone:
Zone_DSP_CutBass
Stop Playback in these zones
I tick all other zones
I repeated to above with different zone names and different keywords (So 5 different keywords and zones).
The playback result...
If I select just 1 song and play, it works perfectly, changing to the correct zone and playing correctly.
But as soon as I select multiple tracks and add to queue, MC does not always change zone at the correct point, and often says:
"Something went wrong with playback'.
at other times.
I only get this message when playing with zone rules in this way.
I tried again with v19, but same result.
Some time ago (v18), Matt said:
But I don't think the current ZoneSwitch system is good for per-file changes. It's better for per-album, per-movie, etc. settings.
Someday we may add a way to save and load DSP settings for certain files (we've laid some of the groundwork in MC18), but it won't happen in MC18.
So it would be great if Matt can take another look at per-file zone switching...
