Hi,
since 2 day i am using FIR convolution with JRiver (current Version 19.0.58), with different samplerates. Automatic  filterselection works great for each samplerate. when i switch between some Tracks Mediacenter crashes. System is Win8.1. Matt, can i send you a crashlog? which is the right emailadress to send the files?

Thanks
Erwin

Thanks for the log, but it's just an oledata.mso file.  I think inline attachments using Microsoft Office do this.

Could you put the log into a regular ZIP attachment, and try again?

Thanks.

Thanks for the log.

Could you test with memory playback off?

Is it possible you have turned off virtual memory or the page file?

Hi Matt,

same problem with memory playback off.

Yes, page file was turned off. I tested it with page file on today, but that is also not the reason.

Fast changing tracks tracks with different samplerate will reproduce the problem very quick.

Thanks

If you're doing things like turning the page file off, you may have done something else to upset Windows.

As a test, if you force a single output sample rate in DSP Studio > Output Format, does it work?

One possibility is that your DAC / driver isn't happy switching sample rates.

Hi Matt,

with forcing one samplerate there is no problem, because JRiver convolving is working after JRiver output formatter. Problem is switching Tracks with different samplerates and different FIR Filters.

DAC (Fireface UC) and Asio driver is not the problem. I used Audio Vero acourate convolver for about two years with Acourate Asio Interface in JRiver. The Acourate Convolver uses same DAC Driver and samplerate switching was never an issue.
