This has been crashing since upgrading to Mavericks.

It just randomly crashes, and when the machine also tries to go into a scheduled sleep mode.

Log file is too large to attach.

Here is new report after clearing.

Also the crash log in TXT format.

Awaiting Mavericks fix patiently. My Mac Mini won't sleep until it's fixed.

Random crashes, crashes on startup, impossible run the program. Now it won't open anyway.

If I re-install program it works well for a while and then crash.

Seems excessive having to update MC every year as OS X is updated :(

I'm sorry you're not happy.  You don't need to update.  But the software was written before Mavericks was available.

It's a long story, but we needed to move all our versions to the same codebase and the MC18 for Mac was therefore a shorter cycle than normal.  Because we realize that's not ideal, the upgrade price is discounted almost 50%.

Not really a legit reason, since the GM version was out for almost a month when MC's last version (219) was released. Mavericks was released to the public four weeks after last update :-\

I must say that if this is the way You conduct business, anyone asking me about J River probably will not get a recommendation.

After upgrading to Mavericks Media Center 18 reverted to trial. Restoring did not work. After contacting JRiver I got an email from Jim saying “Your problem was introduced by Mavericks.  It may be fixed in the build that is on the forum.  If not, it will be fixed next week.” That was on October 27th. After that I had a 30 day trial period which I could extend for 1 week. In the meantime I sent  emails to JRiver. These emails were unanswered. There came no fix. Now today my Mediacenter 18 stopped. I have 1 restore left, which is useless as long that there is no fix. What’s happening now? A fix was promised, emails stayed unanswered??
