New system setup

I just started and having a tough time. Downloaded MC19 and it allows all the files on my laptop to work. The problem lies in getting my NAS to work? It's a ( new ) Netgear readynas 104 and can't get it to send info out to my DAC. No matter what I do my laptop is what plays not the NAS through the system. Any thoughts....I'm sure I missing a few steps to get this to work.

Welcome to Interact.

A NAS is a drive that can be accessed from the network.  Do you have it connected with audio out to your DAC?

Please provide some details on the connection.

I think it is a DLNA Server, but not a DLNA Renderer.  This means you can play files from it, but not play to it.
