Playing music is not an issue, but frequently it will just close while I'm going over options, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a row.

It happens most often opening device settings under audio device.

When hovering over track details in bottom pane, sometimes it will show a tooltip with magnification of tag being hovered over. This disables double clicking to have track play.

It seems to be the Media Network. So much for better stability!
I turned off Media Network and it's been running for 2 days. With it on, if it worked for an hour I was lucky. I suggest trying it with Media Network off or regressing to the previous build.

I'm sorry I probably wasn't clear. The log I sent was in relation to this message. That was during playback.

The crashes I talk about here are specifically when going through the Options dialog and specifically opening the device options. It crashes regularly even when nothing is playing.

Didn't you also change your OS?

For a few hours yes, I reverted back to stable. Bob wasn't the only one with convincing arguments. When I told my collegue about my brave adventures into the unknown he facepalmed.

Resizing or moving windows around is still scarey compared to other applications. The windows flicker, the background turns white and it takes time to repaint it (not like all other progs.)

Stability or crashes: I've running the playback at two zones and have the server running and no crashes during playback. I wasn't able to crash it by walking thru the submenus, however most of those menus don't have any action behind.

A workaround is to right click the taskbar button for MC, and choose move or resize.

I had that trouble with the audio device pulldown too. Did a re-build and it seems stable (so far) on my machine.

New crash I'm afraid. I wanted to add a new view but instead clicked customize view. I cancelled it and MC crashed. I've attached a log.
