Update Error

When running the check for updates the file that is downloaded fails. MediaCenter190117.exe
with the following mesage.. The version of this file is not compatiblie with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computers system information to see whether you need x86 (32bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the program then contact the software publisher.

I tried deleting the update from the update folder and downloading again but same thing happened.

i changed the update settings from stable to latest and it downloaded MediaCenter190121.exe but I get the same error

ok until anyone can shed light on this I have disabled updates as the issue stops Media Center running after a reboot and then I cant access through Gizmo.

Possibilities are:

antivirus software
user level

You could try a search for similar problems.

Ok I turned off Antivirus and the user is Adimin.

I deleted all files from the update folder again and ran 'check for updates' the update it finds is MediaCenter190117.exe but  notced the file is only 1k in size.
I deleted this then tried selecting download latest file. The downloaded file is MediaCenter190124.exe and again only 1k file size.

Use IE and go to the Download Page at jriver.com.  Download and install it.
