I am using MC19, and if I pause a movie in theatre view and the screensaver turns on, the movie starts playing again. What I mean is that the video begins showing the screensaver, and immediately the audio from the movie starts playing in the background. It acts as though I hit the play button again, but the screensaver is overlayed on top.

I have the screensaver deactivated in theatre mode. I think it's reasonable to have the screensaver kick on if I'm away for too long from the computer, but I don't want the movie to start again in the background. It means that every time I step away, I have to figure out where I left and try to skip back to that point.

Anybody else have any problems like this?

Welcome to Interact.  Try using stop instead of pause, just as a test.   MC will remember where you are and begin again at the same place.  This is a bookmark.
