Welcome to the forum.

Does it support DLNA or UPnP?  If so, is Media Network turned on in MC's options?

The wiki has a topic on DLNA and on Media Network.

It supports dnla.
Media network is turned on.
I've been to the wiki support and read it many times. There is no trouble shooting for when the device isn't reached and no info regarding my cloud specifically. I've tried everything.
Please provide specific technical support for this please.

Is the WD My Cloud a DLNA server and are you intending to use it that way with MC, or is it a file server only?  In otehr words, what exactly are you trying to do in "accessing it and playing music"?  Do you want to access its shared directories or do you want to access its media library?  What exactly have you done so far in MC to try to get it to work - you say you';ve tried everyhting but what exactly does that mean?  Have you given MC permission to access the network share, for example? Are you seeing any error messages?

A firewall may be set to let one app through, but not another.

There are a lot of volunteer people trying to help you. So a bit of gratitude would be appreciated.
