Then I don't know how to get rid of the IE pop-up windows / pick "listen in stand alone player" / open
That was fun to "bend around" ! The web/radio program is weekly, so the structure of the mms links go like this :
mms://media3.abc.net.au/rn/mod/wpt-2014-04-06.asf
mms://media3.abc.net.au/rn/mod/wpt-2014-04-13.asf
mms://media3.abc.net.au/rn/mod/wpt-2014-04-20.asf
mms://media3.abc.net.au/rn/mod/wpt-2014-04-27.asf
mms://media3.abc.net.au/rn/mod/wpt-2014-05-04.asf
Year/month/sunday/
So, if you get some help from "JRiver Specialists" (*) over here, U should be able to built a MMS "playlist/smart list" in advance with all weekly programs ahead and just click the appropriate "Sundays" of the year within 19. This way U would get rid of pop-ups if that's your case.
I don't think the web media option allows you to record the stream while listening thus you may not have your own local files of past weekly programs.
Anyway maybe you're simply using RSS feed.

My use of MC is just limited to Music files.Edit : No relation, I made a playlist with 1 mms, placed the playlist into a new "Playlist Group" aka "AC Net Au". I can stream the playlist on my WP8 device through MC19. Interesting to be able to listen to a web radio with only dedicated Apps. for iPhone or Android phones on my Windows Phone and
even more interesting, Windows Phone 8 "reset" doesn't back up/restore RSS feed, that's a real + for a MC19 RSS feed library (I reckon this case is a bit special...).
