Artist change

All 45,000 of my recorded songs changed their various artist to only ONE artist.  Pls. respond with method to regain original artists.

Restore a backup of your library.  MC makes them automatically.  File/Library.

You could also try using the tags from the files to fill properties.  Tools/Library Tools.  Try a few before you do very many.

I appreciate your response, but understand that you are dealing with a novice.  What and where is MC and exactly what and how does it restore the artist?  JDM

MC is Media Center.  JRiver Media Center.

You could do an Internet search on what backup and restore mean.  Save your work and get it back, more or less.  In this case, it refers to your MC library.

On the left hand bar under playing now, you should see your "Player" zone and below that, "Playing from Main Library" or whatever library you're using.  Expand that and right click on your library.  There you can "Restore Library".  In the dialog box, select a recent backup and click okay.
