Does Jukebox use Lame? (alt-preset setting)
« on: February 22, 2003, 05:42:41 am »

A few months ago we learned of Media Center 9. We downloaded it and used it with our iPod. The iPod plug-in never really worked right but I was sold on being able to use the Lame encoder with the alt-preset setting.

1) Does Jukebox 8 use Lame this same way?
2) Does Media Center 9 still use Lame this way?

Hi Steven,
Both use the Lame encoder.  It's the default MP3 encoder for both.

What's the Minnesota Home Theater User Group?  We're located in Minneapolis (as you may know).
