Hi

Background
DLNA server
Library with DSD (DSF format) and PCM files.

Currently, if you activate Transcoding (Flac to Wave for example) in DLNA Servers/Audio/Mode/Specified output format, then DSD files are also transcoded in PCM, except if you activate Bitstream DSD DoPE option in DLNA Servers/Advanced.

Would it be possible to keep Transcoding for PCM files, and not applied it to DSD files (DSD direct streaming without DoPE)?

DSD direct streaming (without DoPE) already works, but is put out when Transcoding is activated.

Best and kind regards

Great suggestion but please include both DSF and DFF formats of DSD.

Bump.

I would welcome this option immensely. Seperate paths for DSD files and other files. Bitstream DSD files as it is possible when DSP is not activated (without DoPE, because my OPPO can't handle DoPE) and use DSP for all other files (e.g. on-the-fly conversions of ALAC to DSD, upsampling to 192 kHz, etc.).
