Recent Trip To NJ
« on: June 30, 2014, 07:21:31 pm »

After My Knee Operation I went home to NJ to see my mom and dad (they are about 84 years old)

Dad has Alzheimer's, Mom has a touch of dementia

I am not sure why the DOT needs to make me buy the dang roads, I think the tolls were over $30

Are they ever going to finish building the roads around Washington DC?

they have been working on them that I know of since 1976, and they have never finished.

A Road worker may never feel they accomplished anything, since they never really finish a job in there life time.

I sat in traffic for hours going around Washington and Baltimore, extending my trip 3 hours (to 11 hours)

I wish they would just put in 50 lanes and be done with it.

With the amount I paid, I should get my own lane.

One of the first things I noticed  when I moved to California. Was that they finished road construction! They might not have as hard a job as the east coast. But it's still impressive to see even after being here for 9 years now.

Well I made it home for a 3 day visit, But since I just had a knee operation I just stayed at the house.

My mom lives about 4 blocks from "Great Egg Harbor Bay"

I am getting around better now, but it still hurts, The cartilage that covers the bones was shredded, And my meniscus was gone.

He cleaned it all out, will see how this works out.

North Carolina, Is thinking about Opening Tolls On I95 And Charging About $20 If you go from top to bottom or the other way. This is in a effort to pay for widening I95 to 3 lanes thru North Carolina.
