If you can configure it as a DLNA server, then yes. A brief search shows they implemented an experimental version of this back in October 2013.

You can configure it as DLNA, but I would like to stream contents from a server on the internet, not on a local network.

It might just work if you can open the stream as a URL. File/Open URL.
