I wonder if it is the non-English characters in the device name.
Try renaming it and restarting MC.

You should try reinstalling MC19.

I don't think its a bug Fominator .... the OP should be seeing other options like Direct Sound and JRiver Asio driver wouldn't he? Probably can't figure what is going wrong unless the OP reinstalls. Just make sure you have a currrent library backup and its very fast; don't reimport if it asks you too you can always restore the library.

of course not. ? just for the case of Mandarynek (the OP or opening poster of the thread). If you can't see sound devices, either their is a problem with the install or the problem is in Windows or maybe the hardware itself. The "OP" saw the devices in other programs, so I may be wrong of course, but it is logical that something went wrong in the install. Reinstalling takes 30 seconds, just restore your library afterwards (which you have backed up first of course).

I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem. So why would it necessarily be a bug?

If  you have the same bug, better describe it in detail -- like what language (if 633.. was on the right track), what OS etc.

ok so if you have the same operating system and exactly the problem manifests itself exactly like in the screenshots; then it might indeed have something to do with the alphabet what language is that please? Is it polish? Polish is one of the translated languages, what happens if you switch the interface to Polish?

Have you tried a reinstall?

The op said he tried to rename this as per 633's suggestion ... have you tried to rename Glosniki => Speakers?

Can you click on "More" and see anything in the Options?

Have you tried to set your default to something other than the USB Dac just to see if something shows up in the audio settings

What puzzles me is why Direct Sound doesn't even show up or a WASPI option... USB Dacs might need ASIO drivers installed but no devices seem to be showing in the OPs screenshots

I missed this ..... are you saying that you do see the devices sometimes? And so the problem is that they disappear -- so its is intermittent?  I read the issue was not seeing devices in options at all. Not, first seeing them and then they disappear. Please confirm, as this is different than what Mandarynek was describing. Thx

I don't know what is in my words different from OP! all devices in windows options and other players and no devices in JRiver

it appears from nowhere - just open JRiver and there are no devices OR only one device, for example USB Creative Sound Blaster HD [Kernel Streaming]
windows 8.1

I am sure that the author of the thread has the same problem, he just didn't describe it in detail, and devices disappeared at some point

There is a big difference in saying there are no devices showing and that devices were showing but then went away.

Look, I'm just trying to help.

Anyways I told you what I would do to try to narrow it down  ...
try rename Glosniki to Speakers
try reinstall
try using Polish interface (which you didn't confirm ,just guessing thats the language)
try using something other than USB out to DAC

you don't want to do this that's cool, maybe trying it is a waste of time. Not sure.   Hopefully someone else will be able to sort this out for you. Have a nice weekend.

I think it's at the OS level.  MC just shows what the OS reports.

OS? this is funny

JRiver suppots windows 8.1, so this is bug

IN OTHER PLAYERS EVERYTHING'S FINE!! EVERYWHERE FINE, EXEPT JRiver AND YOU TELL ME THE PROBLEM IN OS?

MC just shows what the OS reports.
the fact is it does NOT, because OS reports that all devices are working fine!!
