My Connected Media files
« on: September 11, 2014, 04:24:07 pm »

Hi,
I entered the Audio > Connected Media > My Connected Media node today for the first time. Surprisingly I discovered a bunch of songs there, all of them my own ripped FLAC files from my own CD's. Can someone please explain why local music files show up here? I certainly have missed something...
Thanks!

Can you reproduce it?  I can't.

Are you in Standard View?

Yes, Standard View.
I tried this: I deleted all these songs from the library which made them disappear from the view. After that I ran an Auto-Import. Exactly the same songs showed up in My Connected Media files again. Hmm...

Files show there because they have Web Media as the genre, or because there's a non-empty Web Media URL.  Check both those fields.

Problem solved!
The Web Media URL field is NOT empty...
But I wonder, shouldn't there be some additional condition for files to populate My Connected Media files...?
