Problem wi flickering

Recently i have updated my jriver media center to the latest edition. After installing the same when i am trying to update the library the splash screen in flickering and the main console is not responding, i have removed the program, restarted my pc and installed the same. But the problem is occurring again and again.
 
Kindly guide me in this regard.

Did you install MC20 for Windows?

When you say "update the library", it isn't clear what you mean.  Import?  That might take a while.

You can back up in a previous version and restore in the new one.  It's under File/Library.

yes, i have installed v20 on my windows 8.1. i am unable to perform any operations like restoring my old backup or scanning my pc for media.

Sometimes "security" programs can cause problems.  Antivirus, etc.

Try to describe in more detail.
