DLNA discovery problem
« on: September 18, 2014, 12:37:35 am »

Hi,

I've got Panasonic TV which wirelessly connected to local LAN and then through wired connection to computer with JRiver. Since I've upgraded to MC20, my TV stoped to see the media library  shared through UPnP on local network. Sometimes it would see it for a brief moment, sometimes restart of JRiver helped. After lot of frustrating experimentation I found a temporary solution to my problem. Whenever I want my TV to discover JRiver media library, I need to enter media network options and add or remove new media servers. After clicking OK my TV instantly discovers all of configured media server in JRiver. I hope it will help you to resolve that issue, as this drives my kids mad :) They are used to play cartoons from media library through media interface of TV.

besta regards,
David

There is a fix coming soon concerning a discovery problem after the pc has gone through a sleep wake cycle. It might help with your problem. .

Edit: the fix is in the latest build.
