PS Audio Direct Stream DAC with network bridge
« on: September 29, 2014, 02:12:32 pm »

Hi.  I am about to make the jump, upgrade my DAC and purchase the above DAC.  My question is with or without the network bridge.  I want to continue to use MC19 on my music dedicated laptop and control everything with Gizmo on an Android tablet...all music is on a NAS.

Do I connect via laptop USB or via my home LAN?

Any suggestions or recommendations?  ?

USB Direct will probably be a better, more reliable experience.

If it has an HDMI input, that might be even better.

So HDMI "out" on the laptop to the HDMI "in" on the PS Audio Direct Stream?  Never would have thought...would any standard HDMI cable work to experiment?
