32 bit files
« on: October 09, 2014, 06:55:23 pm »

I have a few 32 bit files in my HD library and am wondering why they will not play in JRiver. I used to be able to play them through Itunes but I get not sound with JRiver.
Is there a solution? I also tried to convert them with JRiver and got a very bad sounding file back!

Will probably need a little more info such as what types of files, your audio device and DSP settings.

The consensus amongst audio engineers is that there will never be any 32-bit files beyond the few test files that exist - for a variety of mathematical and practical reasons.

Worrying about 32-bit file playback is probably OCD...
