A Quiet Weekend (RMAF)
« on: October 10, 2014, 11:45:28 am »

We have three JRiver people at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Denver this weekend -- John Thompson, Matt Ashland, and Bob Brose.

I'm absent without leave for a month, though I'll be around the forum a little.

Hendrik, Yaobing, and LesPaul will have to pick up the slack this weekend.

Thanks for your patience if we're slow in answering your questions.

Well deserved for all !  (it also happens to be canadian Thanksgiving weekend)

Speaking of the JRiver team, I wonder.
I thought it would be nice if there was a sticky post somewhere (perhaps under /More) with a picture and small description of the core JRiver team members (people on payroll or contracted).

Obviously the whole team also includes the super users (you know who you are) and even simple users like me, trying to give back a little bit.  JRiver would not be the same company without the forum community.

Sometimes, JRiver seems more like a family than a regular business (Matt's case being a very good example).   :)

RMAF was a great experience.  There was such a steady stream of people inquiring about JRiver that I don't think any of us had much time for looking around at the rest of the show.  Huge thanks to Mojave for setting up the room and doing a fantastic job representing JRiver.  Thanks also to Jeff from JTR Speakers, Media Center sounded great on his Noesis speakers.

I'd recognize the back of Bob's head anywhere!   :D

Big thanks, mojave.

Thanks, Jim.

I got home last night at 11 pm. Once I get my HTPC hooked up again I'll post some more picture. Someone that enjoys photography took a bunch of pictures of the room and I copied them to the HPTC.

I had a great time visiting with Bob, John, and Matt. While Bob and John covered the room, I did manage to slip out of the room for about 30 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. I thought our room was up there with the best.

It was really good, but someone wouldn't let it show internet slideshows :'(  I'm not sure who that was, but they need to be talked to :P
