"Random Album" - problem with expression string [solved]
« on: October 13, 2014, 05:00:08 am »

I found this way to get a random album:
[Media Type]=[Audio] [Complete Album]=1 ~n=1 ~a

The problem is that over DLNA there is no cover art showed, just a white rectangle.
Also in theater view there are now viewable tracks, if I click "Play" the whole album plays but if I "Open" the album I get an empty page with only "There are no items to display". In normal view (non theater) I can see the tracks. Odd!

I've changed to show more than one random album like this:
[Media Type]=[Audio] [Complete Album]=1 ~n=20 ~a
Of course that doesn't affect the problem in any way.

Any idea what is necessary to get album covers shown over DLNA?

THANKS in advance for ANY help!!

I don't use DLNA, and have no ideas, sorry.

Not the most helpful post in the world, I grant you, but thought you might appreciate it more than you would seeing yet another view with no reply.

I had set main "view as" type to "Categories" but when changed to "Files" it worked. Almost. But that's for another thread
