JRiver's HDtracks Downloader for Windows Issue
« on: November 04, 2014, 01:17:13 pm »

I'm having an issue using HDtracks Downloader version 19.0.116.  When I start the program and I click on 'Check For New Downloads' and then the Username: / Password: box pops up, I entered my Username: 'USERNAME' and my Password: (same as as my login),  It pauses for about 5 seconds then the error message responds 'There was a problem logging in. Please try again later.'.  Does anyone here know why I can't get in?

You might contact HDtracks for support, but it is probably a problem with the login itself.  It's case sensitive.  Your user name may be your email address.

Been there, done that!  Yes my info (Username: / Password:) is properly formatted.

They don't have an answer...

HDtracks should be able to help.  The most likely cause is a wrong login or password.

Do you already have an order? You can only login if you have an open order.

If you do have an order, you can try to uninstall the downloader from Windows Control Panel and then reinstall.

JimH - Again, been there done that... The password was reset by HDtracks and they issued a new one and sent it to me.  I tried it it also failed.

mojave - The order I had with them was the 2014 HDTracks Sampler to try out their service.  I had reinstalled the software several times with no luck.

HDtracks ended up providing the music sampler via dropbox.  It took forever and a day to download.
