MC20 standard setup instructions....
« on: November 24, 2014, 10:59:01 pm »

Can someone point me to the install/setup instructions for WDM.
MC20.0.41 audio is working ok
I switched to JRiver MC20 sound.
I see the audio (Spotify) in the Analyzer but no audio out volume?
I tried all the devices in the audio device list ... nothing
Are there setup instructions that all located in one place?

Thanks Jim,
I found that link, but still no go, although I am very excited about the new feature.
One question, when I launch Spotify within the JR brouser ( I assume this is how WDM works), it keeps requesting I install Spotify?
I already have Spotify installed on the computer. Should it be run within the JR brouser, or should I be trying to run it in a std brouser.
I will keep digging and experimenting, as I am new at this and still learning.
Current (preMC20) config that is working is JR (Direct Audio) PEQ  to tri-amp - loving it.

Try running Spotify the normal way you would, not through MC's browser.

If you have set up WDM, all sound should be routed through MC.

if you want to run it through JRiver, under audio/connected media in the tree use this URL https://play.spotify.com/ There will be a log in box (for facebook or e-mail login). Its better to have an e-mail account than the FB one I've found.  This will launch the webplayer, not the desktop app. No difference in sound quality.
