Bad Micro-SD Card?
« on: November 28, 2014, 05:31:38 pm »

I just received this from Pono.  I think a user found the solution.  There is at least one post about it on their community board.

It may explain some of the problems people have had accessing the memory on the devices.

I'll try to post the pictures later, but this may be enough.

Repairing LE microSD card using OS X

Several people have encountered an error when trying to read the microSD card on a computer. The following procedure worked for me. YMMV.

Insert the SD card and you’ll get this error.
Select Ignore. If you select Eject, the following will not work.

Start the OS X program Disk Util. The easiest way to find this is using Spotlight.

When Disk Utility starts, you’ll see something similar to the following. Find your microSD, select it, and click Verify Disk.

I got the following result after the Verify. Click Repair Disk.

I got a message that the disk had been successfully repaired. At this point the disk is not mounted. The easiest thing to do is unplug it and plug it back in again. Your disk should mount, and you can now back up your files and add more to the disk.
