Install problem with 20.0.44

Just got this message when trying to download this new build the second time around:

Critical Error:

The following module has failed to load:

C:\Program Files (x86)\J River\Media Center 20\Media Center 20.exe

It has reported the following error:

A JRiver Media Core component failed to load the product into file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\J River\Media Center 20\Data\Default Resources\Options.xml


Please reinstall the latest version of the program

Except I can't reinstall, can't uninstall, can't open or do anything about the program. Just totally went crazy - can't seem to get anywhere from here??! :(

What to do - any suggestions?

Reboot, download again, reinstall.

Couldn't do either. Rebooted several times, to no avail.

Then got hold of the Revo Uninstaller and finally managed to uninstall MC20. Reinstalled version 0.41 and just rebooted. It's now playing again - phew..

Will keep my hands off v/0.44 for the time being, don't know what went wrong here.

I don't think there is a problem with the build.  500 people have viewed the thread and most have probably installed it.
