Auto Import not working consistently for me

I'm on MC 20 build 47. For the last several builds, I've noticed sporadic behavior with auto import. It is not working consistently. I added a bunch of audio and it was not seen. I shut down and restarted MC and it picked it up. Added more audio and it is not picking it up.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on how to debug/solve?

My audio is kept on a NAS (ReadyNAS) and I'm running the Win 7 with latest patches.
