Possible setting wrong? (Solved)
« on: January 12, 2015, 08:02:01 pm »

Ok I have something weird going on or a setting messed up. When ever I am playing music and the track changes I loose focus of JRiver. In standard view if I'm editing anything I have to re click it when a track changed. The same with Theater View the remote lose focus and I have to exit and come back (unless I have a mouse handy to click the screen). This has been going on for some time I've just ignored it.

So, any thoughts?

Forgot to add if I'm browsing movies remote works fine. Also when Playing music and remote loses focus the direction keys on remote become fast forward/ rewind.

Is something in the Notification area stealing the focus?

No. Would a log file help? I'm not sure whats going on as it only happens with audio files.

Something that is running is probably causing it.  Third party plug-in.  Antivirus.  Etc.

Try changing audio settings.  Try another file type.

Ok may have found solution after a lot of digging last night. Under Options>Audio>Advanced>Auto Configure output on playback error: it was on 'yes' put it on 'no' and now it seems to not happen anymore. Want to try out a few more audio formats to be sure though.

Will update later when I have more time to check them out. :)
